Grant County International Airport – KMWH

Operated by the Port of Moses Lake, the Grant County International Airport (KMWH) has facilities and personnel designed to meet a variety of needs. Since the airport was converted to civilian use in 1966, it has been used for flight testing, flight training, air cargo, military operations and training, and aircraft storage. The longest of the five runways is over 13,500 feet long, and is served by an instrument landing system (ILS); all large runways have multiple instrument approaches too. Located on the airport, air traffic control personnel provide tower, ground and departure services 16-hours every day. The airport is 14 CFR Part 139-compliant, with full-time staffing of airport rescue and fire fighting personnel; additionally, security personnel are staffed 24-hours each day. There is a large amount of hard-pad available, suitable for nearly any type of aviation use. As an international airport, U.S. Customs is available, and with CPA’s regulated garbage program, aircraft may arrive from nearly any country in the world.
